Established in November 2003 by ex Infogrames people, and based in Lyon, Artefacts studio comprises around 30 colleagues.

Artefacts studio offers now three various business fields:
- Outsourcing, the first activity of the company, ARTEFACTS OUTSOURCING
- Full games development, ARTEFACTS GAMING
- Serious game Development, ARTEFACTS SERIOUS GAMING.

The outsourcing activity, with the most important regional, national and international studios, had allowed Artefacts to remain at the state of the art in various activities like engineering, infographic and design in all supports and allowed us as well, to overcome rapidly the new emerging technologies.

In this activity, Artefacts is recognized for the versatility and the quality of his working teams.

With already 10 games to our credits, the full game development is now taking an equal place with outsourcing, recognized area of the studio since 2004.

Artefacts has developed and develops games on DS/DSI, Wii/Wiiware and PC. Artefacts Studio has got the accreditation for all the current platforms: PS3/PSN, X-BOX 360/XBLA, PC, PSP/PSP Go, Wii/Wiiware & DS/DSI/DSIware.

Project in process:  Two Wiiware/PC projects are actually in development in our studio.

News:  

- We were at the Game Connection Lyon, December 2009, the 8th, 9th, 10th.
- We were at the Serious Gaming event, in Lyon, December 2009, 9th.
The two shows went well.
- Negotiations are in process for a French engine acquisition to develop next-gen games.

Conference:  We were at the Pixel/Media conference about the Trans-Media and the ARG in Paris, December 2009, the 3rd.
